Casa de Cookie began with a simple idea: soft, chewy, flavour-packed cookies, the kind that make you pause after the first bite.
After living in Lanzarote, the Netherlands, and now southern Spain, I noticed a gap — most people here hadn’t tried real cookies like the ones I grew up with. What they called a cookie, I’d call a biscuit. And biscuits don’t have white chocolate centres.
So I started baking. Testing. Filling. Tasting. And baking again.
The result is a pastelería and cafetería situated in Húercal-Overa - Casa de Cookie, a growing local business dedicated to cookies and sweet treats that are made to be remembered. All our cookies are baked fresh on site and can be enjoyed after ( or before!) your favourite tostada or filled sandwich, and if you love them, you can order more to take away.
We don´t make hundreds of things, but what we do make is made well!
